The Parent Power Chicago Community is a free Facebook group for Chicagoland parents. It’s a place to ask questions, share what’s worked for your family and find help from parents who have been there.

What you can do there

• Ask other parents for advice, recommendations and where to find help
• Share free programs, events and resources in your neighborhood
• Hear first about Parent Power Summits, seminars and events
• Get reminders about important deadlines, like CPS applications
• Connect with parents across the city and suburbs

Group rules

1. Be kind and respectful.Every parent is doing their best. Disagree politely, and no insults, bullying or hate.
2. Protect your family’s privacy.Don’t post your address, phone number, kids’ schools or photos of other people’s children.
3. No selling, spam or MLMs.Share free and low-cost help, not sales pitches.
4. Share resources, not rumors.Post where information comes from, and check before you share.
5. Not a substitute for professional help.In a crisis, call or text 988. For any kind of help, call 211.
